sonicPlanet GeoPlayer app for iPhone and iPad

The GEO Player is a location based soundspace player featuring the 3D sonic augmented reality technology of sonicPlanet.

Precomposed virtual 3D soundscapes prepared by GeoComposer users can be played on this app. Like you select a music piece, you can select existing location based 3D sound compositions of others from the list.

It is a practical tool for soundscape/soundwalk artists, museums etc..

After downloading the piece into your iPhone, the interaction between the listener (your position and orientation) and the virtual sound objects around the listener starts immediately once you hit play.

You can walk&navigate in the virtual soundscape and enjoy the augmented sonic space on the real physical environment. Each piece handles a unique 3D soundscape on the relevant geo location.

If you are not in the environment of the composed soundscape then you can even virtually visit the space by dragging yourself on the map.

You can enter Google Street View and experience the 3D sound environment composed for the selected piece on real world visuals. sonicPlanet offers the first true 3D sound experience on the Google Street View with soundscapes composed on the relevant geo locations of selected pieces.
